Yes. We may have both weekday and weekend availability depending on scheduling.

Boarding Details

What is included in boarding?

Boarding includes a 15×40 covered stall with run, unlimited turnout, a paddock-paradise style track system, free choice hay, custom feed planning based on the horse’s needs, tack room access, trailer parking, and use of the arena and grass round pen.

How much grain is included with board?

Board includes up to 6 lbs of grain.

What do you feed?

We currently feed Omneity by Mad Barn to easy keepers and Horseman’s Elite Senior Care to seniors or hard keepers. We also use alfalfa pellets in combination with feed for horses that need it.

Can you adjust feed to my horse’s needs?

Yes. Each horse receives a custom feed plan tailored to its needs.

Can I provide my own grain, supplements, or medications?

Yes. Owner-provided grain, supplements, and prescribed medications can be fed.

Do you lower the board price if I provide my own grain?

No. Our board rate does not change if the owner provides grain.

Do you offer extra feed if my horse needs more?

Yes. Additional feed options may be available if needed.

Can we come visit before booking boarding or lessons?

Yes. We welcome visits by appointment.

Training & Owner Involvement

What does training focus on?

Training may focus on restarts and tuning, starting under saddle, problem horses, halter breaking, correcting bad habits, conditioning, troubleshooting, and improving handling skills.

Do you include any training with board?

A very basic training package may be included with board at the owner’s discretion. This can include basic life skills and handling work such as softness to a halter, sending through gates, and picking up feet.

How often are training horses worked?

Depending on the package and the horse, training is typically done 3 to 6 days per week.

Do you include owner instruction with training?

Owner involvement is encouraged, and a lesson may be given at the end of the training period if the horse and rider are ready for it.

Requirements, Rules, & Payment

What paperwork is required for boarding?

Boarding horses must have completed owner and horse information forms, emergency contact information, signed boarding paperwork, and any required waivers.

Is a negative Coggins required?

Yes. A current negative Coggins is required on arrival and must be kept current annually.

What vaccinations are required?

Proof of current Tetanus, West Nile, VEE, EEE, WEE, and Influenza vaccinations is required.

Are owners responsible for vet and farrier care?

Yes. Owners are responsible for veterinary, farrier, dental, and emergency care costs.

Is dental care required?

Yes. Dental floats are required every two years minimum.

What happens if my horse has an emergency?

We will attempt to contact the owner first. If emergency care is needed and the owner cannot be reached in a reasonable time, emergency veterinary or farrier care may be arranged for the horse’s health and safety. The owner is responsible for those costs.

Do you have barn rules?

Yes. No alcohol is allowed on stable grounds. No smoking is allowed on stable grounds. No dogs are allowed on stable grounds. Do not feed additional grain without prior approval. Do not feed treats to horses you do not own without the owner’s permission. Riders under 18 must wear a helmet. Please use provided tie rings and do not hard tie horses to panels or stall fronts.

What are your barn hours?

Barn hours are 5 AM to 10 PM unless previously discussed with the barn owner.

Do you offer hauling or horse pickup?

Local hauling or horse pickup may be available depending on schedule, distance, and whether the horse loads easily. Ask for availability and pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal.

Do I need to sign a liability waiver?

Yes. Riders, participants, and visitors involved in equine activities must sign a liability waiver.
